Hello!
I got a power cut whilst OO Calc was open.
Upon restart I was asked to do a new registration.
I had read of this before so I did the backup of the user profile (making user > user.old)
Then I went through registration and a new user folder was formed.
I tried copying user.old back to user. It all looks fine. I can see the .xba files in basic for instance and I can open them with notepad. But I cannot open the macros from an OO calc sheet (Tools > Macros > Organise Dialogs etc).
Furthermore I tried recording a one-step macro to see what would happen and the Record Macro box does not even show.
Cannot restore user profile + Cannot record Macro
Cannot restore user profile + Cannot record Macro
Open Office 4.1 / Windows Vista
Re: Cannot restore user profile + Cannot record Macro
Update.
After restarting the PC twice I can now record a macro and see it in Organise Dialogs. However, I cannot see it in the User folder and I still cannot see the old macros in Organise Dialogs.
Can the macros be stored somewhere else? I've gone through options to find where the new macro could be stored but I cannot see it.
