Deleting unwanted worksheets

I have a worksheet in constant use, but attempting to delete a sheet that was no longer required causes a total crash of Calc. I have emptied the sheet of all data, selected all, deleted all, but nothing seems to help this annoying problem. If anybody can help, I'd be grateful because it is irritating to have a blank worksheet!

It is the right methodf to delete the CONTENT of a sheet.

But you want delete the sheet itself.

Right click on the TAB of the sheet, and click on the Delete item in the appeared floating menu.

Thank you but I have done that multiple times - all that happens is that the app crashes completely! I have no idea why.

For sake of completeness, if I attempt to open up the app again, it goes into recovery mode - always successful, but still that is not the way it should be!

Unfortunately there is no way to do that as it is full of company information which is regarded as confidential, and obviously I cannot delete those sheets

Is there problem with this file only?

Try to copy all of the needed content into a new, empty .ods file.
