I have poor vision and the only font I can easily read is Verdana. I have set it as my default. I use Open office spreadsheet to sort small text segments that I copy and paste from many sources. This results in a crazy quilt of fonts and font sizes that drives me nuts. Is there a setting that will paste in Verdana regardless of the font copied? If not, after entering all my various pasted text, is there a way to select all cells and change them all to Verdana 10? (Tools/Options/Fonts/Verdana/Ok does not work.)
Thanks

Re: lock font in spreadsheet
- Paste the contents from the foreign sources as Unformatted text.
- Use the styles instead of the direct formatting method.
- Ctrl-A, Ctrl-M resets the direct formatting properties to the default properties of the applied styles.
- Create templates with predefined styles, and use it (you can set one of your templates as the default template of the application).
