i want this to show up as 88 pips, but its showing as 0. something how do i get rid of the 0s on this sheet

=d2-c2

g2=(d2-c2)*10000

thank you very much for this, what does the *1000 mean at the end? i had to remove the g2 part of it for it to work in the begining

It multiplies the result of the subtraction to remove the zeros. G2 was the cell in which I did the calculation.

The * is the character used to indicate multiplication in spreadsheets, so the *1000 means multiply by 1000

thanks for this info and help. i was trying to see if their was a difference between the eur usd and usd chf for buying both, so i can profit from the rates(one buying or selling more then another). like 2 buys on it, one on eurusd and one on usdchf

Please note: It is ten thousand, not one thousand.

A pip, in currency trading, is (in all practical cases) a "hundredth of a hundredth". That makes one ten-thousandth, so you have to multiply by 10000 (not 1000) to show an amount (difference, change) in pips.
