Need a Formula to convert text into SEO url

Post by carl2k17 »

Hello

So what I need is a formula to convert a line of words into an seo url.

I need a formula to do this, as there are other columns with data in, i really need it to be automatic, there is roughly 500,000 lines to edit...

The simplest method to get what you're asking for, is to use the SUBSTITUTE function.
Using your example, in B3 you would enter

Code: Select all

=substitute(A3;" ";"-")
OpenOffice 4.1.7, LibreOffice 7.0.1.2 on Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate & Windows 10 Home (2004)
If you believe your problem has been resolved, please go to your first post in this topic, click the Edit button and add [Solved] to the beginning of the Subject line.

As far as I know, such formulas are derived by SEO specialists and they use a fairly wide tool for working with seo keys and not only. At the same time, it is very important to conduct experiments in link building in order to know exactly what works and what does not. This applies to both links and tools that help you find relevant formulas. I have not seen any in the public domain, I do not know that webmasters use some special sets. They are also used to build their own PBN, crowd links, and placement in Q&A, Reddit, and Quora services.
