[Solved] Cell style for background color ONLY?

Post by AndyNoCo »

Is it possible to create a cell style that only changes the background color, and not the font, number format, borders, etc.?

Sure. Select the menu Formatting -> Styles and Formatting. Click the leftmost icon near the top to select cell styles. Right click on Default and select New. On the Organizer tab, give the style a name. On the Background tab, set the color. All of the other style properties will be the same as the Default style.

Thanks! Such a simple answer. I hope it wasn't already in Help or in the forums. I looked but couldn't find.
