How to automate function

Post by suntaq »

Hello.
I have lot of tables in one row. Instead of clicking on each table, how to make all of them change at once using function?

I wouldn't worry about the version and the OperatingSystem.
If Openoffice 3.1 actually works on a Win95 system, why not? (I used StarOffice 4 and 5 -before the SUN first rose and then set - a lot on Win95 or 98 and that did next to everything I can get today.)

My problem is that I don't understand the question at all.
What are "tables" in one row?
What should happen if one is clicked and how should a table be clicked?
In what way should the tables change and what function should be applied?
On Windows 10: LibreOffice 24.2 (new numbering) and older versions, PortableOpenOffice 4.1.7 and older, StarOffice 5.2

Might this be a case for F9, to cause a recalculate?

If Rory's guess is basically right, the key combination should probably be Ctrl+Shift+F9.

Another hunch: Is Tools > Cell Contents > AutoCalculate enabled?
