I am using Calc to create a family tree and for the most part it is successful. However, where I would like to join two boxes with a double line (to indicate that the people in the boxes are married), I can't find a double line anywhere. I have seen the dialogue box for adding a style and the Help, but neither seems to help much - or more likely, I don't really understand them. Any ideas how to increase the number of different line styles?

Re: Line styles
When you say a box do you mean a Calc cell? And how are you drawing the line?

If you want to use the Cell borders:

Re: Line styles
You can use shadowed connector lines for the join the graphical objects in the Draw application... But - in my opinion - the are not look so good, because the shadow line is shifted right by the value of the distance.
Use the Object styles instead of the direct (manual) formatting in the Draw application too.

Re: Line styles - SOLVED
Thanks for the help.
I have worked out a way of doing what I want by going into Draw, creating the line style I want, then copying the creation and pasting it into Calc, where I can position it and size it exactly as I want it.
Works for me!!
