Format dropdown list?

Post by KS1951 »

In Excel with AutoFilter, the dropdown list in a column is in the same format as the cells in that column. So if the numbers in the column are formatted to 3 decimal places, the numbers in the dropdown list will also be listed with 3 decimal places. But in Open Office, the numbers are unformatted. Is there a way to format the dropdown list?

Sorry In do know such functionality either in AOO nor LO.

My suggestion: use a helper column with rounded data or formatted converted string results. Then you van filter by the helper column.
