[Solved] Where is the wrap text button?

Post by openofficedifficult »

I tried searching this forum but cannot find a clear answer.
Where can I find the wrap text button and/or enable it in the menu bar?

Also I have a Spanish interface which is not helping me in my search although I can understand pretty good Spanish the answers here are in English.
Maybe there is a button I can change the interface into English?

To change to English interface, download English Language pack and install it.

I try for example: Format cells - adjust text automatic
on the alination tab but it does not wrap the text in the column so does not work

On the side bar and in your styles definitions.

My suggestion:

Use the Cell styles instead of the direct/manual formatting. In this case you not need any 'wrap text' icon on the toolbar.
You can set/adjust the cell properties in the created/applied Cell style.

The 'Styles' feature is the most valuable feature of the AOO/LO.
Use it.

Someone with that user name does not really want to use styles.

If you have a fixed row height it never wraps.
Select the row and right click then select Optimal Row Height.
