I have a series of 186 dates that I need to subtract 6 months from.
They are various dates and I can not seem to find a way to do it easily.
Does anyone have a suggestion.
Thanks

Re: Date Issue
The EDATE function should do what you want.
Below copied from the online help...
EDATE
The result is a date which is a number of months away from the start date. Only months are considered; days are not used for calculation.
Syntax
EDATE(StartDate; Months)
StartDate is a date.
Months is the number of months before (negative) or after (positive) the start date.
Example
What date is one month prior to 3.31.2001?
=EDATE(3.31.2001;-1) returns 2.28.2001.

Re: Date Issue
Thank you, saved me a lot of work.

Re: Date Issue
I guess that if you combine 12 as months and Year() you should get what you want.
