I reinstalled the windows and opening a spreadsheet application receive : general error. general imput/ouput error.
I have very ipmortant information.
What can I do?

Please confirm the version of Windows you are using, and the format of the spreadsheet file - (.ods or .xls); was it open at the time of reinstalling Windows?

Try the LibreOffice. It has higher compatibility with the foreign, never standardized fileformats (like the binary .xls).
