Hi,

I'd like to transfer a cells value (text or number), formula and color to a different cell in a different tab.
so in the target cell I put “ =[tab name][source cell] ” . The numbers and formula has been taken over into the new tab, but not the color. Is there a way how I could also achive that with a formula?

example (within the same tab). Cell 40 is the source cell and cell 36 / 37 the target I know that I could use a macro to do this and it actually works, but since I have many rows to cover, a macro takes too long for me to setup.

[Solved] Copy style based on a cell

If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the title. You can select the green checkmark icon at the same time.
