[Solved] Missing formula display line on Calc

Apologies if this is not the correct place to ask this question
I don't know how to start a new thread.
My question is:
I've been working on a spreadsheet for a while but the cell which displays typing for input has disappeared
I can still enter information but this is really disconcerting
Can't find an answer anywhere

I suspect you are referring to the input line above the spreadsheet proper, which has the formula icons next to it. Check under the View menu option that Formula Bar is checked.

For future reference, each board on the forum, e.g. Beginners, Calc has an icon at the upper left for creating a new post.

Where to add a new topic

A moderator will move these posts to the appropriate spot.
