Loading forever when open big excel file.

I received a file from my partner. It was created by Office 2016 and i try to open in my computer with Office 4.1.3 but it show loading for long time, like 10 minutes and cannot open.
What should i do?

Open it in office 2016 is fine, it take just about 1 minutes to open. Let me try to open it in Open office and wait to see if it can open. It's a 9Mb excel file.

Try opening in Office 2016, the Save As in .odt format (should be available on the file type dropdown in the Save As dialog).
