Using a PC with Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit and OO 3.4.1.
Highlighting a cell used to reveal its formula displayed at the top of the sheet, but somehow that has accidentally vanished.
How do I reinstate it?

Nobody remember exactly if a feature exist or not in the very old versions... and what old bugs made them more difficult to use.The question has nothing to do with the version.

Try to reset your OpenOffice user profile.
