Calc crashing.

Hi. I am using OpenOffice version 4.1.3. and am very pleased with it, except every now and then it crashes during a calculation.I have to re-boot and wait for the usual recovery message.I am using windows 8. Can anyone help.
OpenOffice 4.1.3. on windows 8.

Is this with every Calc file, or just with one specific file?

It appears to be with all calc files.
OpenOffice 4.1.3. on windows 8.

Are there only basic calculations?
Are the files coming from MS Excel?

You can try to reset your OpenOffice user profile,it may help.
LibreOffice 7.6.2.1 on Xubuntu 23.10 and 7.6.4.1 portable on Windows 10

They are fairly basic calculations but are not coming from Excel. I will reset my OpenOffice profile as you suggest. Thanks
