Cell rendering with borders

Post by marcusadamski »

Hi - for a given sheet, I would like to hide the grid lines and border some data.

However, I've found a rendering issue. If I scroll the bordered cells upwards, out of view, then back into view - the intersection of the bordered cells and the (hidden) grid lines become visible.

I've attached a spreadsheet with a simple example - please scroll the coloured cells up, then back into view. I've also attached an image of the results.

I seen the same results on the latest stable LO under Windows and an 5.1x variant under Linux.

Do you know if this is a known issue and is there a workaround (changing the grid colour to black didn't work)?

Many thanks
Marc

Seems to work fine with AOO 4.1.3 on xubuntu 17.04.
I don't see any white artefact.

I confirm Hagar's finding, using OO 4.1.3 on Xubuntu 16.04
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15 on Xubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
