How to edit drop down list
I created a calc worksheet with 1 column having a drop down list (with your help), but now I need to add another item to the existing drop down list but I don't know how to edit. Can anyone help?
OpenOffice 4.1.1 on Windows 8.1
Re: How to edit drop down list
What is the source for your drop down list?
Using Data -> Validity, under the Criteria tab, what is selected for Allow?
if it is List, then just add the new entry to the list that is already there.
If it is Cell Range, adjust the range to include space for the new entry, then enter the new data into a cell in the range. (Note: You can enter new data, then adjust the range).
If it is one of the other options, then I'd need to know which option to check the possibilities.

Just like you would expand any other reference to a column of cells. Insert cells and enter data.
