How to make page breaks crop instead of scale?

It seems that using the page break preview just scales the contents to fit inside the page breaks. I want the content to be printed full size, whatever that is, and use the page break to chop of the overflow.

How can I make the page breaks crop the print area?

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for.

Page breaks don't normally scale anything; maybe you have the "fit to page" option turned on?

Format > Page > Sheet > Scale > Mode: fit to number of pages ...
