Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.4
What Operating System (version) are you using? XP
What is your question or comment?
I am doing a spreadsheet and need to know how to make my column headings "float" so that I can continually see them as I scroll down and input information.

Thanks so much!

Select the cell that is on the first row and column that should move (or said differently, just below the last fixed row and column) and click on Window > Freeze menu. Selecting C6 and clicking on Window > Freeze will lock the first six rows and first two columns. Use Window > Freeze a second time to remove the feature.
