[Solved] How to make Calc workbook always open to page 1

Post by taylorkh »

Basically I have a workbook - Calc spreadsheet with several pages - where the first page consists of summarization of data from several of the pages which follow. My goal is to have the first page appear whenever the file is opened - regardless of which page the user was looking at or working on when the file was closed.

My first thought was some sort of autoexec macro which would fire when the file was opened. However, my search results make me think that such a concept does not exist in OpenOffice.org. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

Ken

Running OOo 2.0.3 on Windows XP

Doh! The concept exists, the name has been changed to protect the innocent :? Further searching lead me to "Tools; Configure; Events; Open Document event" which in 2.0.3 is further hidden under "Tools; Customize; Events". Anyhow I added my macro to the Open Document event and now it works as intended. Love it when I answer my own question.
