I have found that my snapshot of AOO 4.0 crashes every time I try to link Calc to external data. I select Insert -> Link to External Data, enter any url, respond to the question about the language and then the suite crashes. A few days ago I looked in bugzilla for a report of this and didn't find any. I admit I didn't spend a lot of time searching different terms. Could someone try replicate this behavior? I'm running

It crashed for me using AOO 4.0 (I think same build as yours, my Windows machine is asleep at other end of house) on XP SP2, blowup in msvcr90.dll. See

I'm having the same problem with external data in 4.0. I have a spreadsheet accessed daily that pulls data from 3 other spreadsheets that I couldn't open when I installed 4.0. I went back to 3.3 and have no problems. I guess I'll wait for 4.1 to try again
