[Solved] Linking cells in different spreadsheets

Question:
In Excel I am able to link cells from one spreadsheet to another within the same file. For example, I enter a number into a checking account and then go to a different sheet where I keep track of the expense by adding the checking account number into a summary cell on another sheet. How can I do this in Open Office?

Same as in Excel with one difference: The sheet-separator is dot rather than exclamation mark.
Use =SheetX.A1 instead of =SheetX!A1. You can also click the referenced cell while editing the formula or you can copy and paste-special with option "Link".
