[Solved] Formula help - SUMIF or SUMPRODUCT

Postby jonsoellner » Fri May 16, 2008 11:58 am

Hi

I am a beginner when it comes to formulas / functions. I am trying to make a spreadsheet that gives me the total value of all orders due in within 30 days, within 60 days and within 90 days.

I have a column that shows the number of days until an order is due, and the column next to it shows the value of the order. I want the sum of all orders where the number of days until due is less than 31 and the same for 61 and 91.

I have tried using SUMIF or SUMPRODUCT functions but can't figure it out. I may need some helper columns, not sure. I have the example 'aggregate' spreadsheet but still can't figure it out, duh! :?

I'm wondering if one of you can delve into the infinite depths of your knowledge and expertise and enlighten me! I am eager to learn. I have attached an example of what I'm trying to do.

Just another example demonstrating some options (I forgot subtotals).
