Use Tab in autocomplete.

Postby mrwitoon » Thu May 15, 2008 8:57 am

I input data in row. When I input some data which repeated in the previous row it come the autocompletion. If I OK to use this autocomplete I have to use only Enter ( and I'll go downward) or -> (and I'll go to the right column)key. Why can't I use the Tab key as usual? How can I use Tab key instead of -> key?

Thanks in advance.

When Calc suggests an autocompletion (enters "autoinput mode"), the tab key can be used to select the next possible completion. AFAIK there's no option to change this behaviour.

A workaround is to press end to accept the suggestion. That gets you out of autoinput mode, so the tab key works normally again. An extra keypress, but still better than using Enter.
