Problem with python and sqlite3

Postby gmalves » Wed Oct 12, 2011 5:14 pm

Hi,

I have a macro written in python that connect to a sqlite file and works well in OpenOffice Calc. So, I removed the OpenOffice and installed the LibreOffice 3.4.3. After that my macro stopped to work. When I try to run it the message error said the "type dbapi2.* is unknown". I verified that the sqlite3 library in python works well and it is ok. The version of python is 2.6.6.

Well, Someone had a similar problem?

Thank you.
Gabriel Alves.

So you have a problem with the Python programming language and the sqlite database. This forum is about OpenOffice.org.

It should be very easy to connect a so called "database document" (which is a configuration file in the first place) with a ODBC/JDBC data source, add some queries and link Calc cells to row sets without writing a single line of code.

In LIbreOffice 3.4.3 seems that some SDBC drivers are missing.
Can you access to the database tables trough Base screens?

I don't recall any SDBC driver for sqlite but there have been reports of ODBC/JDBC connections.
