Once I have used formulas in certain cells to calculate values based on other cells, I want to replace the formulas with the calculated values. In other words, once the two-step process is complete, the original cells (the basis of the calculations) can be altered or removed and the previously-calculated values in the new cells will not change (or give an error message). I could do this with Quattro years ago, but I cannot find any equivalent mechanism in OO.
I am using Calc 3.3.0 on a 64-bit Win 7 system.
Thanks,

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Copy the cell and Ctrl+Shift+V to paste special, uncheck Formulas and keep Numbers checked.
