I exported calc file including HEX2DEC function (openoffice 2.4 both Windows and Linux Czech localisation) and resulting Excel worksheet includes function HEXINDEZ (german version of function). Exported function is not understandable for neither Czech nor English localization of excel.
Could anybody help me with Calc setup avoiding this strange behavior?
thanks
Similar things occur with DEC2HEX.

Re: HEX2DEC excel export problem
I think maybe you need to read this: Issue 57772: Some functions are exported as German names in Excel format.
I can't quite tell what's going on there--the developers seem to be saying that Calc is copying Excel's behavior.
If you can understand what the situation is, maybe you can see a workaround, or at least add your functions to the list that's there.
Either way, please report here what conclusions you come to.

Re: HEX2DEC excel export problem
Thank you for link to issue.
I verify all similar functions (DEC2BIN, ...) and post it back to issue 57772.
I'm sorry to miss known issue, I searched only for HEX functions, not for german. Once more thanks.
