[Solved] Make 'todays date' show in OOo 3 Calc sheet?

Post by MSwhip »

I keep a permanent file that i use regularly.
I would like to learn to do a couple of things:
1. Get the spreadsheet to show the date as soon as I open it (like as in a function or a formula embedded in a cell)
2. How do i set titles for all columns to remain fixed and visible while I roll or scroll ˄ or ˅ the spreadsheet up and down and same with first column at the left or right of the spreadsheet to move << and/or >> (left and/or right)?

Thank you for responding to this

Enter =TODAY() in the cell you wish the date to appear in.
