Default alignment

I would like to set the default alignment in calc to center rather than words-left numbers-right
how do i go about this?

Modify the Default cell style: open the Navigator (F5) Sytlist (F11), right click the Default entry and modify its configuration. To make it the default for all your new documents, see here: [Tutorial] Creating a new default template.
