Hi,
I need to save a spreadsheet to csv and want to use special field delimiter.
When I select "save as" I cannot check "edit filter settings" as it is grayed out, no matter which output format I choose.
I have no idea what to do about it.

First select text as file type, then you can edit filter options for text.

Re: CSV-Export - cannot Edit filter options
Unfortunately that's exactly what happens NOT.
As I told before, no matter which output format I choose (and Text CSV is one of them) the checkbox is grayed out.
Is there any extra or package I have to install to get this option? I made a fresh install of Kubuntu and as always some things are missing in the beginning.

Re: CSV-Export - cannot Edit filter options
Does anybody know where the value of the default delimiter for csv files is stored?
Maybe I can change this value to my needs "by hand" as a workaround.

CSV-Export - cannot Edit filter options [Solved]
Strange enough, but the problem disappeared. The checkbox is still gray, but the format dialog now appears after clicking the save button.
Sorry for the noise.

Re: [Solved] CSV-Export - cannot Edit filter options
The problem occurs when saving from a .csv. If you first save the file as .odt for example, then trying to save it again as .cvs will bring up the option you are looking for.
