Re: Text with Formula in same cell
That works if the calculation is before the text... I need it after.

Re: Text with Formula in same cell
I keep getting the #Value error..
="Total Calories (Max 1379):"&(B271:B279)
="Total Calories (Max 1379):"&(B271:B279)

Re: Text with Formula in same cell
Missing function name. SUM or other...
="Total Calories (Max 1379):"&(SUM(B271:B279))
="Total Calories (Max 1379):"&(SUM(B271:B279))

Re: [Solved] Text with Formula in same cell
Thanks, but to complicated... Zizi64's answer worked perfectly...

Re: [Solved] Text with Formula in same cell
I got an issue using ZiZi's method.
I was dividing numbers, and now I can't control the number of decimal places it shows... I have about 10 decimal places now and it won't fit into my cell!

Just extent the cell width...

Re: [Solved] Text with Formula in same cell
Use the TEXT function to display a value according to a given format; for example, format "0" produces a number with no decimal digits.
="Total Calories (Max 1379):"&TEXT(SUM(B271:B279);"0")
="Total Calories (Max 1379):"&TEXT(SUM(B271:B279);"0")

Re: [Solved] Text with Formula in same cell
Try CONCATENATE(text1, text2) i.e. CONCATENATE("The total sum is: ",ROUND(SUM(G2:G20),2))
text1 = "The total sum is: "
text2 = ROUND(SUM(G2:G20),2)
Round(number,2) - restricts the answer to 2 decimal places
text1 = "The total sum is: "
text2 = ROUND(SUM(G2:G20),2)
