calc problem needs help

i use the spreadsheet on windows for a long time but when i decided to build a new computer i put linux on it and copied my spreadsheat files to open office but when i go to add new times it always converts it
example i put in 2:00 and it automaticlly changes to 02:00:00am

how do you change it from doing that

Menu:Format>Cells...Tab:Numbers, Category Time, Format: anything you like.
If you need to reuse this formatting more often: Call the stylist (key F11), highlight a formatted cell (Ctrl+Click) and drag the cell onto the stylist. You'll be asked for a style name. Then you can apply the same formatting to selected ranges simply by double-clicking the named style. You can change the appearance of all equally styled ranges by simply changing the named style.
