[Solved] Error 529 in 3.0 & 3.1

Post by hnmcc »

I have a spreadsheet that was developed in 2.x on WinXP. It's fairly complex.

I've recently started using it again. It works well in 3.1 on WinXP; but on 3.0 (which I have on my Mandriva notebook) one sheet throws a lot of Error 529s (which seem to be caused by formulas that evaluate to "" and are then referenced by other formulas).

Can anyone confirm that this behaviour was introduced in 3.0 and then removed in 3.1? Or is it Linux-related in some way? Frankly, both explanations seem a little odd.

I need to know, because if it's Linux-related, I'll need to redraft all the offending formulas - whereas if it isn't, I won't...
