[Issue] Bullets in cells of Calc (help file irrelevant)

Hi,

I have just started using Calc off OOo .
As per the online help to put the bullet in a cell I was suppose to do choose format-->bulleting and numbering option tab.
But alas I do not have this option under format.
I tried to add it in the toolbar listing.But did not get it at all in the listing.

Can some body help please .
I am in urgent need of formating it.
I tried copy pasting it from Writer with bullets But was unsuccessful in that too.

I don't think you can bullet a cell like in Writer. Are you sure that the help section you've seen was about Calc? Calc is to handle numbers, bullets are for lists in a text document.

As a workaround, you can insert a special character.

But can you please tell me why am I not getting the format ->bullets & numbering -> tab in my scalc sheet.

Eventually, I've opened your attachment (by PM). I think this is a bug, I've filed that one: Issue 98726 - Internal Help Index should not display other components features.

You may have to create your notes with bullets in LibreOffice Writer and then copy directly into a cell in LibreOffice Calc as a workaround
