I have a list of email addresses in one of my columns; I do not want them to be hyperlinked. I imported the data from MS Office Excel and the imported data are not hyperlinked; however, new entries into Calc are hyperlinked. I have looked at the hyperlink options and remove hyperlink does not seem to be an option. Is there a way to remove a hyperlink while keeping the text? Is there a way to turn off hyperlink recognition in Calc? I have read that you can do this in the word processing software.
Thanks!

Re: How to delete or remove a hyperlink
To convert the links to plain text, select the cells containing links and do: Format > Default
To turn off the recognition, do: Tools > Autocorrect > Options > URL Recognition = OFF
That setting will apply to all the OOo apps.

Wow that isn't the least bit intuitive or easy to use.
