[Dropped] Bold formatting not saving

I'm in open office calculator and when I use bold and a font and save the document when I re open it the bold and font format is gone. Can anybody let me know why this is happening? I thought after you save the document it stays that way in open office calculator. Thank you

In what format are you saving your Calc (not calculator) document?

Is this by chance the same problem you asked about in [Solved] Bold not saving?
