This doesn't work for me. I want the first three rows repeated. Selected column A rows 1-3. Print range became user-defined with $1:$3 in the adjacent field. I looked in the manual, and it doesn't say anything more than what is already mentioned here. I also tried on a separate test file with same results.
Well, when I print, it shows up on the printout. Was hoping it would show up in the working spreadsheet. Anyone know if this is the way it's supposed to work?
It sounds to me that you want to keep the top 3 rows showing on your screen all of the time. If so, then put your cursor in cell A4, then select Window -> Freeze.
This is the closest you can get with Calc to having it look like the printout and still be able to edit the spreadsheet.

Yeah I do use the split/freeze function. But I also format pages to keep sections from being broken up between pages, so it would be nice to see that header on each page to minimize the chance of that. I have to print a few times to get it right. Not a real big deal. Thanks for the help.
Yeah that will definitely help, but it would still be nice to see it in page break view, for example. Then I can just drag the page break to a preferred row. Thanks for the suggestion!
