Where did the fit print ranges to pages go?

Post by nevin »

on mac catalina 10.15.7, open office 4.1.10...
there used to be a fit print range to number of pages in the page formatting but i don't see it any more. was it removed or moved to a different spot?
was an easy way to shrink large sheets to fit on a page without manually making font smaller & adjusting columns...

any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Choose the menu Format -> Page. On the Sheet tab, set the Scale.
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint

sorry, it is there, just looks different.
looked like "sheet" was the title, not a tab. dialog box must be smaller than before as all the "tabs" are not on one line anymore. see below.

currently - catalina 10.15.7 , open office 4.1.10

before - el capitan 10.11.16 , open office 4.1.7

You could try resizing the dialog and see if the size change 'sticks'. There may also be a MacOS tool or feature that allows you to define a size for a particular window. This is available for example in the Linux KDE window manager via a click on an icon in the top left of the window title bar.
