Hi all,
I wonder if there is a way to derive the amount of hours from two time stamps. Column A 'gives time in' (example: 08:00), Column B gives 'Time out' (example: 10:30); Column C gives Total hours (example: 2:30, or 2.5)
-----Solution: Column D: "=B2-A2"--------
Thanks for any tips!

Did you try subtracting A from B? Format the target cell C as time or decimal number according to your needs.

Re: Adding up hours from time
Thanks David! I did find the formula in the Excel forum. Indeed subtracting, rather than adding, did the trick.
