Repeat header at page break for specific pages

Post by Digika »

I have a dumb requirement that if table is being broken due to page break it has to have a header. Right now I basically have duplicate whole table, including making special cases for logic because I have 2 totals now and one grand total (manual because it cant be possibly automated when there are 0 or more than 1 break) for numbers.
Do I udesrtand correctly that complex header like table header is not possible to implement?

Do you ask for "How to repeat column headers per printed page"?

If so:
One or more rows containing headers will be repeated per printed page if the respective setting is made under
>Format>Print ranges>Edit...>>Rows to repeat.
To repeat the first 3 rows e.g. enter ther $1:$3.

The effect will not depend on what kind of content these rows have.

If there exists something like "complex" headers", and I simply don't know, you may take this as a hint that it has no relevance.
("Complex" is next to always bad.)
On Windows 10: LibreOffice 24.2 (new numbering) and older versions, PortableOpenOffice 4.1.7 and older, StarOffice 5.2

Thanks, that works partially. Is there a way to define repeat only for specific set of pages?

Not. There is not "conditionally repeated rows" function.

It is possible only for more than one SHEETs. Put the tables - where you want not any header - onto an another sheet.
Or you must work with manually inserted header rows...
