Print preview is blank

Post by danno »

I am trying to create a simple line chart. I want to see what it looks like so far but print preview is blank and if I try to print anyway there is nothing there. I searched the forum and saw that someone said that there needs to be data in the cells..all I need is to have the cells outlined in bold lines. I will input data later. Someone else suggested setting a print range. I cannot find anything about "print range" in the drop downs.

Thanks for any help provided.

Welcome to the Forums.
In Calc (both OpenOffice and LibreOffice), you set the Print Range(s) from the Format menu.

Set the relevant parameters:
Click on the image for a better view.
Click on the image for a better view.
This feature is independent from the Page Styles, therefore you must set/adjust it for every sheets individually, even if there is applied same Page Style for the sheets.

TY. I will try that.
I was able to print my chart by opening the page in my browser and then printing from there. I will try your method as well.
