[Solved] Print grid lines

Postby bobbee25 » Sun Jul 26, 2020 1:28 pm

Edit: Split from [Solved] Lost the input window for the cell data
One more questions, how do I print the grid lines.

I want a page with both the column and row lines printed, a form we can use to fill in later with a pencil.

/Format /Page : Sheet tab, check Print Grid and anything else you require printed.

The grid is just a visual aid for editing. If you want to print a grid for all cells of a print area (including blank cells), you have to apply borders (Format>Cells... tab "Border").
menu:Format>Page... tab "Sheet", Print: Grid would not include blank cells.

As a new poster you will find much useful information, including the answers to your questions, in the Calc Guide. May I suggest you bookmark the page.

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.

As Villeroy says, if you require to emphasise entry areas, use a distinctive border to surround them.
