Copy cell on certain date and save

I have a sheet that has the dates of the month in each column for example A1 has 07/01/20 B1 has 07/02/20 etc. I would like to copy the data automatically from a cell on another sheet that changes daily and paste it under the appropriate date without losing it. My plan is to make a chart under these dates that will show the changes. I hope my question makes sense. Thanks in advance for your help.

Whats "the appropriate date"? Is it the date of the day your automate is running?
What is the cell "on another sheet"? Is it a fix cell? Is the "other sheet" contained in the same spreadsheet document?
How shall the automate be triggered?
Can you assure that the "daily changing value" is valid at the time the automate is running?
(Will only change once a day or ...) .
