[Solved] #VALUE! Error

Postby Sherwood » Mon Feb 24, 2020 5:25 pm

I can't see why I am getting a #VALUE! error in column F. However I try to format it or the precedents it ends up the same. Columns A, B and C are sent to me. My formulas for columns D and E work fine. I just want column F to show 1% of column E or nothing at all (depending on the value in column E)

The RIGHT() function returns text. To make the results in column E numbers, change the formula in E2 to
Code: Select all   Expand viewCollapse view
=IF(B2<>"Stock: 0";VALUE(RIGHT(C2;LEN(C2)-(SEARCH("£";C2;1))));"")

The VALUE() function takes in text and returns a number.
