Find box in tool bar cause OpenOffice to crash

There is a tool bar option that includes a "Find" box. It eliminates the need of Control F. After switching to Windows 10, when using that Find box, it causes the program to crash and you have to recover the document. Any thoughts?

Does /Edit /Find and Replace also cause a crash?

Because you are using Window 10, there are two things to try immediately. Ensure Windows 10 is _fully_ updated, then restart (boot) your computer. If that does not help, try starting Windows in Safe Mode; if the problem disappears when OO is run in Windows Safe Mode, then the problem is a driver of program that runs in Windows Normal Mode.
