[Solved] Multiple choices cell

Post by Poneyx77 »

Is it possible to assign a list of values to choose from when selecting a cell? say if I select C7, a menu pops up with a list of values to choose from for C7?

You can set that up with the menu item Data -> Validity. On the Criteria tab, set the Allow list to either List or Cell Range. If you pick List, enter the values you want in the Entries box, pressing the Enter key after each value. If you pick Cell Range, type the address of the cell range that holds the desired values into the Source box. For example, if you listed your desired values in Z1:Z7, enter that address in the Source box.
