Book: Designing with LibreOffice

Post by jeanweber »

Bruce Byfield's new book, Designing with LibreOffice, also covers Apache OpenOffice. It focuses on the use of styles and templates, mainly in Writer but with some info on Calc, Impress, and Draw.

A PDF of the book, and/or a zip file of the chapter ODTs, can be downloaded free from the book's website. If you prefer, you can buy a printed copy. http://designingwithlibreoffice.com

Thanks for posting this, Jean. We don't hear from you often enough! Bruce Byfield, like yourself and Solveig Haugland, is a sound author, user and commentator on OpenOffice and LibreOffice.
.
Edit:  I note here the passing of Solveig Haugland. A sad loss to the Open/Libre-Office world, where her writings have helped many into the intricacies of complex document handling, but we must also not forget the more real loss and sadness to her friends and relatives.
