How can I paste Gmail to OpenOffice documents on Windows10

Welcome to the Forums.
1) Call up the e-mail in your gmail account, probably using your web browser
2) highlight the text you want to copy
3) press Ctrl+C
4) Switch to (or open) the OpenOffice application you want to paste the information into (I'm suspecting Writer)
5) Press Ctrl+V (to get the text and all associated formatting)...or Ctrl+Shift+V, and select Unformatted text to get just the text.

Off topic, please use the User Control Panel, then switch to the Profile tab. then select Signature and update your forum signature.
OpenOffice 5.1.4 does not exist. The current version is 4.1.7
